Our 2024 education panel theme is about the “Stories Before the Letters.” We will have a few members of the community that will share their stories about being in Oklahoma that went through the hardships of the past just because of who they are and how they came out of it victorious.

We hope to empower both the young and old to look at the challenges we are facing now, to confront them, work to overcome them and move forward together by listening to the past stories from our community.

Panel GUIDELINES

• Respect the experiences of others and be supportive rather than confrontational.

• There will be some time for questions from the audience.

• While it may be difficult to avoid, try to steer clear from politics, as PFLAG cannot represent a particular political party.

• Note: This panel will be recorded and provided on social media.
